Woodbine Canada
When people ask me for a Woodbine review, I tell them: this isn't just a casino. You get a hotel, nine restaurants, a concert theatre, a live racetrack, and one of the largest gaming floors in the country.
The Hotel
The hotel sits just south of the casino wing, a short walk from the gaming floor. Check-in starts at 4:00 PM, check-out is at 11:00 AM. A resort fee is $19.99 CAD plus tax per night.
Room Types
The lineup covers standard rooms and suites, with options for city or racetrack views, accessible configurations, and larger multi-bedroom layouts for groups.
Here's the full lineup of Woodbine Canada hotel rooms:
| Room Type | Beds | View | Sleeps | Extras |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Premium King | 1 King | City | 2 | - |
| Racetrack King | 1 King | Racetrack | 2 | - |
| Premium Two Queen | 2 Queen | City | 4 | - |
Every room includes free Wi-Fi, blackout drapes, a mini-fridge, a coffee maker, a laptop safe, a work desk, and NEST bathroom products. Free parking is included into your stay.
On-Site Amenities
Here's what else the Woodbine Toronto hotel has to offer you besides your room:

The hotel takes pets too - cats and dogs up to 50 lbs, two per room max. Budget an extra $49 CAD per night plus a one-time $49 CAD cleaning fee.

The Theatre
I've been to shows here, and the production quality at Woodbine Canada genuinely surprised me. The sound and lighting are top-tier, not the usual afterthought you get at a casino venue.
Capacity and formats:
- Concert or show layout: 4,000 to 5,000 guests
- Banquet or gala setup: up to 1,500 guests
The space hosts music acts, stand-up comedy, theatre productions, corporate functions, weddings, and fundraisers. Great Canadian Rewards members get presale codes and can buy tickets through the Member Portal using Comp Dollars. For bookings: [email protected].
Private Events
Woodbine Toronto gives groups a solid range of event spaces. The options scale from a small boardroom session to a full-scale production.
Meeting Rooms
Two boardrooms, 50 people each. Combine them for up to 100 guests. Both include HD TVs, flexible seating, and standard AV. Contact: [email protected].
Copperhorn Private Room
Up to 35 guests, located right on the gaming floor. Works well for private dinners, intimate celebrations, and business gatherings.
The Theatre in Event Mode
Up to 1,500 in a banquet layout, up to 4,000-plus for concerts or shows. Handles weddings, galas, fundraisers, and photo or video shoots. Contact: [email protected].
Parking
Woodbine Casino Canada handles parking better than most Toronto venues of its size. Self-parking is free, covered, and open around the clock.
Self-Parking
3,800 spaces in a covered, enclosed garage with 24/7 video surveillance. Multiple entrances connect directly to the casino. To get in: turn right off Rexdale Blvd onto Queens Plate Dr.
Valet
- Monday to Thursday: $20.00 CAD
- Friday to Sunday: $30.00 CAD
- Holidays and show days: weekend rate applies
- Payment: card or debit only, no cash - Rewards members can use Comp Dollars or convert to Slot or Table Play
Before You Go
I always tell people who are coming specifically for the live tables: check the schedule before you leave. Tables run Thursday and Friday from 8:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday from noon. I've seen people show up at 3:00 PM on a Thursday expecting blackjack and end up at an electronic table instead. It's an easy thing to miss and an annoying way to find out.
